this song is basically about perception of reality and about ability (or disability) to see things from different angles, and at some point is about illusions that we try to keep at any cost. this song is about the world, my world, old world that come crashing when I found out that my son is deaf and about beautiful world that has unfolded at the same time. World full of enthusiasts who works with hard of hearing people, disability rights activist and people who overcame their disability and even turned in into advantage.
